Creation of Adam
--
The creation of Adam.
Canvas board 8x10, thick Oil Technique: The generous, raised application of oil paint accentuates the dynamism of the scene. The thick impasto tactilely sculpts both the raw ground and the transition of skin and muscles that come to life, making the canvas seem palpable and three-dimensional.
• The Red Sky of Dawn: The background is dominated by an intense red sky , depicting the absolute beginning of the day. This vibrant and fiery hue symbolizes the world's first dawn and the divine life energy being breathed upon the earth to give rise to humanity.
